Suggested by SewTites friend, Pamela of Pamela's Patterns, this magnetic straight pin holder is for those times you still use straight pins and need them handy!
It also works great for keeping snips close to you and accessible and, like all SewTites, works great as a needle minder too.
Simply slide it apart, snap it onto your shirt, and stick your pins on it.
DO NOT USE/WEAR NEAR A PACEMAKER.

I bought one for myself. LOVED it. Help stopped pin pricks to my left shoulder!! Loved it so much, I bought two more for Christmas presents for my two sewing buddies!!!

So handy for small embroidery snips, pins and clips. Also love my cutting mat and magnets. Can’t wait for the smaller 8 x 24 ruler.

This really makes it easy to keep a small pair of scissors nearby while you're on your long arm machine. Previously I wore a pair of scissors around my neck and they always got in the way. This is an awesome accessory for any quilter.

First, I was disappointed that I was sent this item when I won magnets at a virtual event. I wish I would have been asked first if it was okay to give me a substitute. I would not use/wear this magnet.

I’m always grabbing my crochet stuff and sitting on the couch to watch TV, then realize I don’t have my scissors. The magnetic snips holder has saved that frustration. Love it!

Works just as described!!

Erin from Juniper and Oakes showed this on her blog and I knew I had to have it. I'm working on a large blanket and it covers my entire lap so searching for my scissors or needle is not possible without getting up to search for them. I love this wonderful gadget and applaud whoever came up with the idea. Thank you.

nice strong magnet holds even my medium sized scissors and is so much nicer than the string around my neck which limited the distance I could stretch it or tangled if it really was long enough. Also I can position the tips so they don't poke me like they did on the string. I have also made a band around my wrist and attached it there to hold pins right where I need to grab them
Patricia
Awesome! No losing track of my scissors while crocheting.

Love that it’s bigger than the other needle minders. I feel safer and it’s more effective in the car while my husband is driving

I don’t like wearing the wrist pin holders and my sewing teacher always scolding me for pins in my mouth. This was the perfect solution. It even holds my special seam ripper. My sewing teacher loved it and was going to buy one for herself

Love all my Sew Tites

Love my snips holder. When using my longarm, i know right where my scissors are and don't have to walk around machine to find them on my work table. Thanks girls for designing this product.

Haven’t lost my needles or scissors yet! Get up walk around and still have them. Would recommend.

I love my magnetic pin/ scissor dot. It lets me keep my small scissors at hand when I am working at my longarm quilt machine. VERY HANDY. It keeps me from loosing them between uses and cuts down on the steps needed to retrieve them when they are needed.
The SewTites Company is so great to deal with their Customer Service is truly that - “Customer Service!” Wonderful to do business with.

I love all my sew tites that I have purchased. I use them for various projects but love them when I’m embroidering. They really hold my shirt or something that buckled in place instead of pulling on it and distorting the fabric.
I’ve just purchased the pin/scissor holder for me and Christmas gifts. Absolutely love love love it. I’m always setting my scissors down . I gave one to the lady I embroider with and she’s always looking for her scissors. Hopefully now the pin magnet will save us time as we won’t be looking for our scissors .
Thank you so very much “ASHLEE” for all your help with my last order.
Happy New Year to all of you ❤️

The Magnetic Pin and Snips Holder is great to keep by my sewing machine to keep the seam ripper and scissors close by. They won't fall on the floor or get lost. Also very handy to hold my needle or snips when I am doing cross stitch.

My set up for the pin/snips holder. Love it.

I have a wrist magnet pin holder. I don't like it on my wrist, so I put it around the back of the handle on my longarm to hold my snips. But they kept falling off because the magnet was not strong enough. I purchased the SewTites Magnetic Straight Pin Holder (the extra strong one) and removed the back and stuck it to the wrist band magnet and I have a great place for my snips. Always at hand and they don't fall off anymore. I know it's not what it was intended for, but works GREAT!

Slips down my T-shirt, not enough magnetism to stay in place. Pins hold ok but only a small amount at a time, when pins are layered they fall off. Main issue is staying in place
Marla W.
Just what I needed! I try to use ‘needle minders’ not really intended for wearing, so they don’t work great. This is a perfect size and flat…can’t miss it!

Best purchase ever. The lapel magnet can hold my scissors and my awl…. all I need when I longarm.

This stays close to my heart and my pins and embroidery scissors are always close by.

I have a metal plate under my cutting mat. I use my sewtites on that mat to lay out and cut pattern pieces as well as tracing. It works great!!
Pamela H.
Great way to gave easy access to your straight pins!

I have been looking a long time for an easy way to keep my small nippers and needles secure while hand sewing. This fits the bill. I like to hang my thread nippers from a lanyard, and to keep them out of my lap, I park them on my sewtite pin holder.
