I too thought it may just be another gadget…but it has made
my cutting almost enjoyable. I find my rotary cutter cuts 100% too. I hope they make a larger mat & some smaller
rulers too….i used to dread cutting, but now it’s so much easier and more precise

I was a bit skeptical at first - thought maybe I had bought something that I really didn't need. Imagine my surprise when the next day, I got a pattern from Patterns for Pirates and they were using the mat and magnetic sew tites to make the pouch I was about to make. And, then Julie from Jaybirds quilts got one and was doing a demo of it on another thing I was making. Suddenly there were so many uses for the system that I hadn't thought of - and I was so relieved - and now, my friends love the system too - they come to my house to cut out their stuff.

Love the quality of the cutting mat! It is so smooth compared to my older mat. The magnets make cutting so much easier. Though a little pressure is still needed to keep the ruler from sliding at the end of a cut. I was able to use the magnets to stabilize a pillow for pin basting. Nice bonus!
