SewTites has been a game changer for me in sewing slip pockets in bags. Pins are not an option on certain lining materials, and double-sided tape is time consuming and messy. 3 or 4 SewTites magnets strategically placed makes for a perfectly placed pocket that absolutely does not move around as I sew them. I used Sew Tites on my reproduction civil war quilt I was hand quilting. They were instrumental in my finishing my corner blocks as I could not use my frame/hoop to hold down the corners. The only disadvantage to using them is my arthritic fingers have a difficult time separating the magnets. That is not a flaw of the Sew Tites. They are a great product and came in handy!

The new Sew Tites are amazing! I am using my Sew Tites magnets to hold fabric layers in the hoop for machine embroidery. I hoop stabilizer only, lay my fabric on top and then layer batting and back fabric on the back. All layers are held together snuggly. I just have to make sure that magnets are beyond the stitching area. i have also discovered that tusing Sew Tites to hold binding in place on my quilts as I hand stitch it in place. I can imagine replacing pins on many of my projects in the future. See, it is possible to teach an 87 year old new tricks.

I was able to use the sewtite originals on the metal hoops of my viking designer ruby embroidery machine. Instead of using the expensive sticky tear away stabilizer (which is really hard to remove) I decided to try these magnets with regular stabilizer. Because they are so thin, I have found so far that my machine has stitched out very nicely with these magnets on the back of my metal hoops. I'm really happy!

Following Adam Sew Fun's YouTube instructions, I made new side leaders for my HQ Amara long arm. These are the BEST solution for holding the backing taut while allowing the machine to easily move closer to the edges, especially when using the ruler base. I purchased two sets of the originals. I made 4 side leaders and use the others for "pinning" my zipper leaders so they don't clank when I roll the quilt forward or back. I still have a couple of others to use for keeping seams lined up when piecing.
Note: I used my teflon foot (Bernina #56) when sewing my side leaders so the magnets wouldn't be drawn toward the needle.

SewTites (Original type) work great in creating side clamp extenders for my longarm. I would recommend them to all long armers.

I had made a cork fabric journal cover for a friend and then decided I wanted to add a design to the back. I used the SewTites to hold it in place at the very bottom edge of the hoop. They worked great! I will continue to use them for things that cannot be hooped easily for machine embroidery. Thanks for inventing and marketing such a useful tool.
